Pillars of Prospect Park to Host Giving Voice Chorus (Feb 2026)
Giving Voice Chorus is a nonprofit organization that brings people living with brain change, Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia together with their care partners to share the joy of singing. This program was founded in Minnesota and was created to shift the narrative around dementia from one of loss to one of possibility - showing that music can foster connection, creativity, and purpose at every stage of life. Through weekly rehearsals leading up to a community concert, Giving Voice choruses provide a safe, inclusive space where participants can build friendships, feel a sense of shared purpose, and experience the healing power of music.
